Heritage Steel Window Repair is a small, specialized team of steel window technicians, glaziers and carpenters based in Port Richmond, Philadelphia.
Philadelphia and its suburbs are full of steel windows: in rowhouses and twins from the 1920s to the 1950s, in stone Colonial Revival homes on the Main Line, in churches, schools and former factories. Many of them are being torn out when they only need repair. We started this company to offer the alternative.
We repair and restore steel, bronze and wood windows, steel doors, storm windows and hardware, and we install new steel windows where originals are lost. Our shop handles stripping, welding and joinery; our field crew handles adjustments, glazing and installation. Most projects are run start to finish by the same people.

The same four steps on every project, from a single window to a whole building.

Every window numbered, photographed and checked.

Stripping, welding and joinery at our Port Richmond shop.

New glass, putty and a rust-inhibiting paint system.

Every vent opens, closes and latches before we leave.
Our shop is in Port Richmond, Philadelphia. We work across the city and the surrounding counties every week, and travel further for restoration projects.
